Oo I'm featured!
July 26th, 2007 -
Each time you’ve been to my site, I know what you are thinking…”what is this puke green crap of a website?!” Well, I never confessed to be a designer, but if you think this site suck, guess again. Apparently, a CSS Gallery Site begs to differ. Awesome!
What’s even better is that my site has the highest rating on that gallery site! Again, awesome! So, for sake the of the ugly kid finally winning, go vote for me and give me a 5!
Help the ugly kid finally win!!

Introducing the Godbit Project
November 17th, 2005 -
So, in an effort to help further the usage of web standards by churches and other ministries, we are starting the Godbit Project, which will feature tutorials, interviews, and a gallery. We hope that by writing educational articles, interviewing designers, and showing off the best of church web design, we will help affect change in some small way. There is also a forum for people to ask questions. —SonSpring.com

Advancing the Church
October 9th, 2005 -
Today, visiting Nathan Smith’s website, he has an informative post on the a CMS called E-zekiel. This is a company that designs sites for various Churches. What bothers me about this is that this company really over charges a Church for design and hosting. Typically, you can find a good hosting service for around $90 a year. One place I like in particular is Blue Host. You pay about $90 a year and can run 6 websites out of 1 account.
Anyways, I don’t want to rewrite what Nathan has written so, visit his site and read his article.

Fixed
September 9th, 2005 -
Ok, I fixed the the XHTML so that it is validates. It took just a bit of tweaking of the flash embed code…. well actually taking it out.
Anyways here is the fix:
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
data="path/movie_name.swf" width="700" height="300">
<param name="movie" value="path/movie_name.swf"></param>
</object>
Hope this helps anyone out there looking for embedding their flash into XHTML and having it still validate.

Flash and XHTML
September 9th, 2005 -
I am almost finished with my new design. Things have gone smoothly thus far.
One problem that I have encountered is that I cannot figure out how to have flash embedded into my XHMTL without it giving me errors in the validation process and being accessible to all browsers.
Hopefully before November 1st release, I can find a fix for this problem.
