The cursive hero family
Five faces now, chosen by the feeling the page should carry — corrected from "four," the count before Caveat was confirmed. Two workhorses (Great Vibes, Alex Brush) and two specialists (Allura, Parisienne) for general use; Great Vibes is the default among those four — best capital and most versatile. Caveat is the fifth, the dark theme's own default hero, decided (not just used) per §04a below.

The hero rule
How a cursive accent word is set, applied live below. Five-second choice: is the page a system (workhorse) or a voice (specialist)?
Cursive accent word · accent color · no brush · punctuation carries the face
The 22 failure modes are not 22 problems. They are five.
They should know one: the post office.
Trailing punctuation attached to the accent word takes the cursive face and accent color with it — five. and one:, not a typeset period snapped back to serif.

The Caveat hero rule, decided
Settled by direct comparison, not assumed: caveat-hero-lock.html trialed three treatments (brush+color, no-brush, brush+plain-ink) against real headlines; caveat-hero-colored.html — titled "THE RULE," not a proposal — is the winner. No brush. Accent color. That's the whole rule, and it now has five real headlines behind it, not two.
Five real headlines, the decided treatment
The 22 failure modes are not 22 problems. They are five.
Your agents should not know each other's addresses. They should know one: the post office.
Complexity is earned, not adopted.
To the model, everything is text in one channel.
Guard the root, cover the whole group.
Color range — the same word, all eight accents, to confirm the rule generalizes

Rejected, not just unused: caveat-hero-lock.html tested two brush-highlight variants (in color and in plain ink) alongside this one. Neither source file states *why* no-brush won — only that it did. Don't invent a rationale here; if the reasoning matters, that's a question for whoever made the call, not something to backfill.
